The Wildcats (7-4-1, 2-2-1 A10) have split their last three results with a draw to Duquesne, loss to Fordham, and most recently a win against La Salle. Davidson is led in goals by freshman Vincent Bennage, although the forward has failed to find the back of the net in the team's last three contests.

NOTES ON THE HOKIES

  • Virginia Tech (7-1-3, 3-1-1 ACC) is 4-0 at home this season, with all four matches coming in its current six-match unbeaten streak.
  • Jacob Labovitz sits third in the ACC in goals scored with seven, and his .778 goals per game is best for second in the league. Ben Martino, who has started nine of eleven games, leads the ACC in saves per game with 4.22.
  • Thanks to a bump from last Friday's four-goal match, ten players have recorded a goal and an assist for the Hokies this season. In comparison, only four players accomplished such feat last season.
