Thursday, Aug. 19
New England at Philadelphia – 7:30 p.m. ET – NFL Network
Patriots' TE Dalton Keene will not see action as the Colorado native was placed on injured reserve and miss the 2021 season. However, another Hokie will be present as former Tech and NFL WR Eddie Royal has joined the Eagles' staff as a coaching intern during training camp. The Eagles (0-1) lost their opener last week to Pittsburgh.
Friday, Aug. 20
Cincinnati at Washington – 8 p.m. ET – NFL Network
Four Hokies played in Washington's preseason opener last week and recently extended TE Logan Thomas made a spinning, 24-yard catch on a throw from QB Ryan Fitzpatrick.

On the defensive side of the ball, CB Kendall Fuller made a tackle, undrafted rookie DE Justus Reed recorded a hit on the quarterback and DT Tim Settle played 42 percent of the defensive snaps. CB Greg Stroman was released from the PUP List with an injury settlement and is eligible to return later this season.
Saturday, Aug. 21
Buffalo at Chicago – 1 p.m. ET – NFL Network
The Bears' 2021 sixth-round draft pick RB Khalil Herbert impressed in his NFL preseason debut, rushing six times for 38 yards and recording three receptions for 11 yards. The Hokies' leading rusher from the 2020 season showed off his versatility as well as his hard-nosed rushing as he ripped off a 16-yard run after initially getting stopped at the line of scrimmage.

Also impressive in his NFL preseason debut for Chicago, K Brian Johnson connected on a 44-yard field goal, to go along with two PATs in the Bears' win over the Dolphins.
Herbert, Johnson and the Bears (1-0) could face off against fellow Hokie LB Tremaine Edmunds, who did not play in the Bills' win over Detroit last week.
N.Y. Jets at Green Bay – 4:25 p.m. ET – NFL Network
Fresh off playing every offensive snap in his preseason opener, T Yosh Nijman and the Packers gear up to host the Jets on national television. The Packers (0-1) look to bounce back from their loss to Houston a week ago as the Jets (1-0) beat the Giants in Preseason Week 1.
Baltimore at Carolina – 7 p.m. ET
Both teams feature Hokies as Ravens' S Chuck Clark and Panthers' K Joey Slye prepare for their second game of preseason action. Last week, Clark started the game at strong safety but saw limited action in Baltimore's win over New Orleans. Slye made four field goals, including a long of 41 yards, in the Panthers' loss to Indianapolis last week.
Atlanta at Miami – 7 p.m. ET
WR Isaiah Ford and the Dolphins are coming off a loss to Chicago in their preseason opener last week, in which Ford caught both of his targets for 13 yards. The Dolphins (0-1) host the Falcons (0-1), who opened the preseason with a loss to Tennessee.
Tennessee at Tampa Bay – 7 p.m. ET
Despite not playing in the Titans' preseason opener, CB Caleb Farley made the trip with the team to Atlanta after he was adamant about being there, according to head coach Mike Vrabel.
It is unclear if Farley will make his debut versus the Buccaneers. The Titans also announced last week that they had signed S Reggie Floyd. The four-year Tech letterwinner joins Farley in the Titans' secondary room coached by fellow Hokie Anthony Midget.
Bruce Arians, Cody Grimm and Nick Rapone will all be on the sideline for the Bucs, who started the preseason with a loss to Cincinnati.
Detroit at Pittsburgh – 7:30 p.m. ET – NFL Network
The Edmunds brothers, S Terrell and RB Trey, will be back in action for the Steelers' third preseason game. In the team's win over Philadelphia last week, Trey caught an 11-yard pass, bringing his preseason stat line to three receptions for 33 yards. Terrell saw his first preseason action against the Eagles, starting the game at strong safety and recording two tackles. Pittsburgh (2-0) hosts Detroit (0-1) coming off its preseason-opening defeat to Buffalo.
Indianapolis at Minnesota – 8 p.m. ET
Vikings' first-round T Christian Darrisaw will not play as he continues to recover from a surgical procedure last week. Minnesota hopes to have Darrisaw back for the start of the regular season or sooner.
Houston at Dallas – 8 p.m. ET
Texans' QB Tyrod Taylor had a brief but impactful start in Houston's preseason-opening victory over Green Bay, completing all four pass attempts for 40 yards and leading the Texans to a field goal on his only drive of the game. The Texans (1-0) visit the in-state Cowboys (0-2) who lost to Arizona last week.
Las Vegas at L.A. Rams – 10 p.m. ET – NFL Network
LB Divine Deablo will not play against the Rams nor did he play in the Raiders' preseason opener as he has started his first training camp on the PUP list.
Denver at Seattle – 10 p.m. ET
Seahawks' DT Jarrod Hewitt made his NFL preseason debut in Seattle's loss to Las Vegas last week, recording a tackle for loss. Seattle T Duane Brown did not play in the game and is unlikely to see action in this one as well as the 13-year veteran has been present at camp, but yet to practice for the Seahawks. Broncos CB Kyle Fuller did not play in the team's win over Minnesota last week.
Sunday, Aug. 22
N.Y. Giants at Cleveland – 1 p.m. ET – NFL Network
After sitting out the Browns' first preseason game, G Wyatt Teller may get his first action of the new NFL year Sunday afternoon on NFL Network as the Browns host the Giants. Cleveland beat Jacksonville last week and the Giants lost to the Jets.
San Francisco at L.A. Chargers – 7:30 p.m. ET – NFL Network
Chargers' CB Brandon Facyson did not play in the team's win over the Rams last week but may see action this week against the 49ers. Former Hokies' DL and co-defensive line coach Darryl Tapp will be on San Francisco's sideline as the Virginia native serves as an assistant defensive line coach for the 49ers. The Chargers (1-0) and the 49ers (0-1) are the Sunday night national game on NFL Network.
Monday, Aug. 23
Jacksonville at New Orleans – 8 p.m. ET – ESPN
After recently signing with New Orleans, CB Adonis Alexander did not see action in the Saints' preseason opener versus the Ravens but may get his first reps with his new team Monday night against Jacksonville. Alexander and the Saints will go up against a Jaguars' side that employs two Tech football alums, Nick Sorenson and Todd Washington, who serve as special teams coordinator and assistant offensive line coach, respectively. Both teams head into Preseason Week 2 coming off losses.
