NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The No. 29 Virginia Tech men's tennis fell to No. 35 Notre Dame on Sunday afternoon, 4-0.
The Hokies (11-8, 6-6 ACC) fell behind early when they dropped the doubles point to the Fighting Irish (13-9, 6-5).
Moving on to singles, Mitch Harper dropped a match to No. 35 Axel Nefve in straight sets on Court 1. Matthis Ross had a similar result on Court 2, falling to No. 74 Richard Ciamarra. Notre Dame wrapped up the match with Tristan McCormick's win on Court 3 over Tech's Alex Ribeiro.
The Hokies will play next in the ACC Championships that begin on Wednesday in Rome, Georgia.
