COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Four Hokies have been selected to the 2021 USA Junior National Team as announced by USA Swimming.
Emma Atkinson and Chase Travis will be representing the women's team along with AJ Pouch and Blake Manoff on the men's team.
Freshman Emma Atkinson has been chosen for three events, the 200 freestyle, 800 freestyle and the 200 backstroke. The Pennsylvania native is a five-time Olympic trial qualifier and second time member of the Junior National Team for all three events.

Freshman, Chase Travis has also been chosen for three events, including the 800 freestyle, 1500 freestyle and the 10k Open Water. Travis is a two-time member of the Junior National Team for the 10K, this is her first time being selected for the 800 and 1500 freestyle. Travis placed third in both the 800L and 1500L at the 2020 US Open.

AJ Pouch has been selected for the 200 breaststroke. This is the third year in a row the sophomore has been a member of the Junior National Team in this event. Pouch finished third in the 200L breast at the 2020 US Open.

Junior Blake Manoff has been selected for the 100 butterfly for the second year in a row. Manoff has proven strong in this event, placing third in the 100L fly and ninth in the 100 fly at the 2020 US Open.
