Welcome to our newest feature, Beyond the Player, where we will get to know more about the players behind the scenes. This week, we learn about the outfielders, four of which are new to the program this fall. Also, check out below returning outfielder Gavin Cross' "Mic'd Up Monday" below.

Tanner Thomas - If you could choose your age to be forever, what age would you be and why?
"I would be 25 years old because I would finally be 6-foot tall and jacked."


Carson Jones - If you had to work but didn't need the money, what would you choose to do?
"I would be a professional photographer for National Geographic because I would get to travel the world and photograph many different places."


Jack Hurley - If you had to eat one meal for every meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
"If I had to eat one meal for the rest of my life I would eat peanut butter and honey sandwiches. I've been eating them for years and have shown no signs of slowing down."


Cade Swisher - If you could be a family member of any TV-sitcom family, which would it be?
"The Tribbiani family from Friends. I think it would be cool to be brothers with Joey because you'd live a fun life with a lot of twists and turns."


Jonah Seagears - If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three things would you want with you to survive?
"An axe, a fire-starting tool and a fishing pole."


Parker Stallard - If you could take a vacation anywhere in the world where would you go?
"I would go to Japan so I could visit Tokyo."


Gavin Cross - If you were to start a collection of one kind of item, what would it be and why?
"I would collect golf scorecards to prove I am the best golfer on the team, hands down."


Brennan Reback - What product would you stockpile if you found out it was not going to be sold anymore?
"I would stockpile coffee."


Dusty Mercer - What kitchen appliance can you not live without? And why?
"I could not live without a microwave, because a ton of food that I enjoy is made in the microwave."


Jon Rivard - If you were granted one superpower what would it be and why?
"It would choose teleportation, so I could go and do whatever I wanted without having to wait, so it would save me a ton of time."
