Hokies open season, hosting George Mason

BLACKSBURG – The Virginia Tech men's tennis team is set to open the 2020 season, hosting George Mason on Monday, Jan. 20 at 11 a.m.

THE HOKIES

• Tech returns seven to the roster this season to a team that finished 16-9 last year.
• Henrik Korsgaard, Alex Ribeiro, Carlo Donato, Brandon Perez and Ryan Kros all saw all action in the majority of dual matches last season.
• Mitch Harper returns to the lineup as a redshirt senior after being sidelined by injury early last season. Harper was ranked as high as No. 12 during his senior campaign.
• Korsgaard and Perez enter the spring ranked No. 55 in doubles.
