BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech wrestling returns to Cassell Coliseum for the first time since the first week in November to play host to Chattanooga Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. The dual can be seen on ACC Network Extra.
The No. 5 Hokies enter Saturday's dual with a perfect 3-0 record on the season. All three of Tech's wins have been over ranked opponents, most recently over then-No. 3 Ohio State on the road.
Prior to start time, there will be a toy drive in the Cassell Coliseum concourse. Fans are encouraged to bring a stuffed animal for the drive benefitting Carilion Children's. Fans who donate will receive a Virginia Tech holiday stocking.

Tech Welcomes Chattanooga to Cassell
- Saturday will be the eighteenth meeting between the Hokies and Mocs. Tech holds a 9-8 advantage in the previous seventeen.
- The teams met last season in Tennessee, where the Hokies cruised to a 35-4 win.
- Saturday will be Tech's 2019 dual finale. Their next dual is Jan. 3 at Central Michigan.
Hokies in the Rankings
- Virginia Tech was ranked fifth in the country in this week's NWCA Coaches Poll. This is the fifth straight week Tech has been ranked in the top five.
- InterMat has five Hokies in their rankings for this week. Hunter Bolen (3) and David McFadden (6) made the top-10. Bolen is ranked third for the second straight week, while McFadden has appeared in the top-10 every week this season.
- Joey Prata, John Borst and Mitch Moore round out the InterMat rankings at No. 14, 16 and 18 respectively.
