Chicago CB Kyle Fuller is coming off a Pro Bowl campaign after tying for the NFL lead with seven INTs and 21 passes defensed in 2018. This week he made his debut on the NFL Top 100 list at No. 95. That prestigious group is selected by players across the league. For more on Fuller's selection, go to: bit.ly/Fuller95

The youngest Fuller, Chiefs CB Kendall Fuller, reached the AFC Championship Game a year ago and along with the Bears are favored by many NFL pundits to win their respective divisions in 2019. The younger Fuller also made an off-season number change to No. 29 for the Chiefs.

The Redskins feature three former Tech players on their roster (CB Adonis Alexander, DT Tim Settle and CB Greg Stroman) in addition to a pair on their coaching staff (Chad Grimm and Kyshoen Jarrett). Washington begins practice at the Bon Secours Training Center in Richmond on July 25. Chuck Clark and the Baltimore Ravens also open their camp on July 25 at their team facility in Ownings Mills, Md. Fans can watch Trey and Terrell Edmunds and the Steelers at St. Vincent's College in Latrobe, Pa. beginning on July 26.

MORE NUGGETS & NOTES

  • Seattle Pro Bowl offensive tackle Duane Brown is the elder statesman of Tech's NFL playing contigent, entering his 12th pro campaign in 2019. Meanwhile, Ricky Walker (Dallas) and Yosuah Nijman (Green Bay) will be seeking to crack NFL rosters as rookie free agents.
  • RB Trey Edmunds and S Terrell Edmunds both enter camp on Pittsburgh's roster. Terrell played 966 defensive snaps in 2018 to rank second on the squad, while also being on the field for 223 special teams plays. LB Tremaine Edmunds, racked up 111 total tackles (70 solo) as a rookie in 2018 and became the youngest player in NFL history to record an interception. G Wyatt Teller started the final seven games of the 2018 campaign for the Bills.
  • While no longer an active player, you'll see plenty of DeAngelo Hall who began his work as an analyst for NFL Network this summer. One of his first "big interviews" was getting all three Edmunds brothers in the NFL Network studios with other members of the Good Morning Football crew. Read More
  • QB Tyrod Taylor also made an off-season move to the West Coast, signing a two-year deal with the L.A. Chargers. As usual, Taylor was back home doing good work back in the 757 region, in addition to participating in Paris Fashion Week.
  • Bruce Arians begins his first season as head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Arians' full-time staff includes Tech alum Cody Grimm. A third Hokie – Kevin Jones – is serving as a Bill Walsh Coaching Fellow for the Bucs. He began his stint with the Bucs at mini-camp in May and will be working with the running backs during training camp.
