Hokies wrap up regular season hosting Technotational

BLACKSBURG – The Virginia Tech men's and women's swimming and diving teams are set to wrap up the regular season, hosting four teams this weekend as part of the Technotational meet at Christiansburg Aquatic Center. Joining the Hokies are the men's and women's teams from South Carolina and Towson along with the women's teams of North Florida and JMU.

IN THE RANKINGS
Tech is receiving votes in the latest CSCAA men's poll and enters the weekend ranked 21st. South Carolina's women enter ranked 24th while the men are receiving votes.
 
THE HOKIES
This marks the final regular-season meet for Virginia Tech before the Hokies head to Greensboro, North Carolina for the 2019 ACC Championships. The last time out, the Hokies swept the competition on both the men's and women's side, defeating Cincinnati and George Washington. The women's team also downed James Madison. In total, the Hokies combined claimed 20 top finishes.
 
THE FIELD
South Carolina swept the field at its last outing as well, with both the men's and women's teams claiming victories over Wingate, UNC Wilmington and Queens. JMU picked up two wins last weekend, defeating Richmond on Saturday before returning home to knock off Marshall on Sunday. Towson defeated Loyola in both men's and women's swimming while North Florida fell at Campbell
 
UP NEXT
The Hokies will compete in the ACC Women's Championships Feb. 20-23 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center. Tech's men will follow a week later Feb. 27-March 2.
