BLACKSBURG – Head coach Justin Fuente announced Thursday that P Oscar Bradburn will wear Frank Beamer's No. 25 jersey in Virginia Tech's game at Duke on Saturday. It will mark the second time that he has earned the honor of wearing Beamer's No. 25 jersey. He also wore it in a 59-7 victory last season against North Carolina.

Bradburn  (6-1, 211) ranks first in the ACC with 12 forced fair catches and leads the ACC in net punt average with 44.8. The sophomore punter had seven punts against Old Dominion averaging 44.9 yards per punt and had a career long 63-yard punt. The Hokies lead all FBS programs by permitting a national low of 25 combined punt and kickoff return yards this season. The Sydney, Australia native has played in 16 career games for the Hokies and has been a welcome addition since joining the team from Sydney Secondary College.

At the beginning of the 2016 season, coach Justin Fuente announced that a special teams' player of the week would be selected to wear the No. 25 as a tribute to Coach Beamer and his legacy of special teams excellence he established for the Hokies.
