The Virginia Tech women's golf team has a two round total of 611 and is in sixth place at the Henssler Financial Intercollegiate. The two-day event, hosted by Kennesaw State University, is being played at the par 72, 6,032-yard Pinetree Country Club in Kennesaw. The Hokies shot 302 in the morning round and 309 in the afternoon round on Monday.
Elizabeth Bose, a junior from Norfolk, Virginia and Amanda Hollandsworth, redshirt junior from Floyd, Virginia, are tied for 21st place individually at 152. Pimnipa Panthong of Kent State holds the lead at 141.
Emily Mahar, a freshman from Brisbane, Australia, is tied for 27th at 153 and Jessica Spicer, a sophomore from Bahama, North Carolina, is tied for 30th at 154. Anne Taylor Hough, a junior from Spartanburg, South Carolina, is tied for 39th at 158.
Kent State holds the team lead entering the final round with an 11-over 587, five strokes ahead of Ole Miss. Augusta is third at 593 and Coastal Carolina and host Kennesaw State are tied for fourth at 595, 16 strokes ahead of the Hokies. Delaware is seventh at 616, Troy is eighth at 619, Georgia Southern is ninth at 631, Eastern Michigan is 10th at 632 and UNC Greensboro is 11th at 645.
