BLACKSBURG – The Hokies gave up the game's first two goals before finding its own rhythm with goals by Kara Reichert, Emma Crooks and Emma Harden to take a lead that they would not relinquish.
The win moves Tech's record to 2-2 ahead of Saturday's ACC opener against the Duke Blue Devils.
Crooks played the best game of her young career, handling draw control duties, coming up with five, while asserting herself in the offensive third with eight goals from eight shots.
