Hokie ClubBLACKSBURG – Members of the Virginia Tech women’s tennis team are set to compete this weekend at the Wofford Invitational.
Nina Sorkin, Fallon Delp and Nancy Ghanem will represent the Hokies this weekend. Joining Tech and host team Wofford are athletes from Emory, Georgia Southern, USC Upstate, Radford, Western Carolina, ETSU, Appalachian State, Gardner-Webb, UNC Asheville, Savannah State and Bluefield College.
Sorkin will compete in the Gold flight while Ghanem is in the Wofford flight. Delp is set for the Terrier flight. Sorkin and Ghanem will pair up in the Gold doubles and Delp will partner with a player from Georgia Southern for the White doubles.
Competition will begin on Friday with one round of doubles followed by a two rounds of singles.
