Hokie ClubWith the start of another football season, head coach Frank Beamer has his team focussed on working for each other. This year’s team motto: B.L.L.U.S.S.H.D. is an acronym and before each practice and meeting, a player reads off each letter with the rest of the team reciting the word it stands for.

L: Leadership - Some of our best leaders are the people who say the least but do the most
L: Loyalty - The foundation of an organization
U: Ut Prosim, That I May Serve - The I may be part of this team
S: Service - What are you doing for others?
S: Sacrifice - Are you willing to do what’s best for the overall goal?
H: Honor - Do what’s RIGHT ... when nobody’s looking
D: Duty - Do your job and do it well
