Responsibilities: As Senior Director of Student-Athlete Leadership Development, Spera oversees the Leadership Institute, including the Leadership Culture and Next Level Leadership programs. She also serves as the co-advisor for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), as well as coordinates community outreach efforts and Hokie Women RISE.

Prior to Virginia Tech: Before joining the Hokies, Spera served as Assistant Director for Marketing & Recruiting at the McIntire School of Commerce at UVA. Prior to her time at UVA, she worked in Student-Athlete Engagement and coached the dance team at Syracuse University.

Of Note: Spera was a four-year member and two-year captain of the Syracuse University Dance Team and served as Vice President of Syracuse SAAC.
Personal: A native of Alexandria, Virginia, Spera currently lives in Blacksburg with her dog, Willa.
