Responsibilities: Christina is an Athletic Training Resident for the Virginia Tech Swimming and Diving teams.

Prior to Virginia Tech: Christina attended Sacred Heart University where she graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training. While at SHU Christina worked with the women’s ice hockey, women’s softball, cross-country and track and field teams. After graduating from SHU, Christina attended graduate school at West Chester University. While at WCU, Christina was a graduate assistant athletic trainer for the field hockey and softball teams. In addition to her graduate assistantship, Christina completed research in the HEAT Institute focusing on thermoregulation and electrolyte balance.

Of Note: Christina proudly became a certified member of National Athletic Trainer’s Association in 2018. She is a licensed athletic trainer by the Virginia Board of Health Professions.
Personal: Christina grew up in Middletown, DE and now resides in Christiansburg, VA. Although, her favorite place is down the shore in Cape May, N.J. any time of the year.
