CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Virginia Tech football’s 2025 schedule was officially announced Monday night on ACC Network and is highlighted by seven home games at Lane Stadium, including playing host to Miami (Fla.) in its home finale.

HOME
Tech’s home slate features three nonconference games and four ACC matchups, starting with three straight contests at home. An exciting home opener awaits against SEC foe Vanderbilt on Sept. 6, followed by Old Dominion on Sept. 13 and Wofford on Sept. 20.
The first conference home game for the Hokies will be against Wake Forest on Oct. 4. Then Tech will have back-to-back ACC games in Blacksburg versus Cal (Oct. 23 or 24) and Louisville (Nov. 1).
In their final home game of the regular season, the Hokies will face Miami (Fla.) on Nov. 22.
NEUTRAL
For the first time since 2017, the Hokies will open the season at a neutral site, taking on South Carolina on Aug. 31 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta for the Aflac Kickoff Game. The matchup marks the seventh neutral-site season opener for the Hokies since the conception of the BCS/CFP eras.

AWAY
The Hokies will travel to Raleigh on Sept. 27 to kick off ACC play against NC State, marking the second time they’ve opened conference play in Raleigh.
On Oct. 11, the Hokies will head back to Atlanta for their second game there, this time facing Georgia Tech. Following its second open week, Tech will play at Florida State on Nov. 15.
Tech will close the regular season once again with the Smithfield Commonwealth Clash, taking on in-state rival Virginia on Nov. 29 in Charlottesville.
SPRING GAME
Virginia Tech football's 2025 spring game, presented by PMSI, will take place on April 12, with kickoff set for 3 p.m. ET in Lane Stadium.
