Cameron Fagan earns ACC Player of the Week honors

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Virginia Tech second baseman Cameron Fagan has been named the ACC Player of the Week, the league announced Tuesday morning. The senior earned the award for the second time this year after leading the offense with a .667 batting average.
 
Fagan tallied six hits and seven RBIs against Boston College. She produced at least two RBIs in every game of the series, including home runs in games one and two. In the series finale, Fagan hit a two RBI single to bring Tech from behind in the fifth inning.
 
At the plate, Fagan is third on the team with 50 hits and fourth with a .379 batting average. The second baseman continues to be a standout on defense with a .990 fielding percentage.
