Two Virginia Tech football alums were named to Pro Football Focus' Top 101 list for the 2022 season, including the Minnesota Vikings' Christian Darrisaw (No. 26) and the Buffalo Bills' Tremaine Edmunds (No. 69).
Darrisaw, a left tackle, had his best season yet up front for the NFC North champion Minnesota Vikings in his 14 games played in 2022.
The 2021 first-round draft pick totaled a remarkable 90.3 overall grade, 90.2 run-blocking mark and an 81.8 pass-blocking total across 14 starts.
Edmunds, a linebacker, just recently compiled another strong season at the professional level as a cornerstone piece on the defensive side of the ball for the Bills.

Another former first-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, the younger Edmunds garnered 66 total tackles, with 36 solo, in the 13 games played, snatching up one tackle for loss, picking off a pass and breaking up seven total passes for the AFC East's divisional champions in 2022. His PFF grade of pass coverage (90.0) marked the highest for any off-ball linebacker in the NFL.
