Moore named to Ray Guy Award Ray's Eight List

BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech football's Peter Moore was named to the Ray Guy Award's Ray Eight List for both Weeks 1 and 2, following his outings versus Old Dominion and Boston College.

Moore, who was named a Freshman All-American by The Athletic a season ago, punted seven times versus the Eagles for a 45.3-yard average, including landing three punts inside the 20-yard line and a season long of 67 yards. Against the Monarchs, he punted seven times for a 38.7-yard average, with two inside the 20-yard line and a long of 52.


   
On the year, the Davidsonville, Maryland has totaled 588 punting yards with a 42.0-yard average and five punts inside the 20-yard line.

Tech (1-1) will play host to Wofford (0-2) this Saturday at 11 a.m. ET on ACC Network, and tickets are still available starting at $50.
