Lacrosse program returns to the field against No. 1 North Carolina Saturday afternoon

BLACKSBURG – The No. 14 Virginia Tech lacrosse team is set to return to the field on Saturday, March 13 for an ACC matchup against the top-ranked North Carolina Tar Heels. The game, played at Thompson Field will be shown on ACC Network Extra at 1 p.m.

The Hokies are looking for their first ACC victory of the season and face the nation's top team lead by the conference's top goal scorer Jamie Ortega who has 22 in six games already.
 
Tech's last ranked victory came in March of 2019 with an overtime win against No. 13 Elon. The Hokies have never beaten a top five team before.
