Virginia Tech (2-4) is looking to rebound after its outing against then No. 11 Duke last weekend. Senior Nina Sorkin leads the Hokies in wins this season with four, while freshmen Tamara Barad Itzhaki, Katie Andreini, and Sabina Richtrova have been putting in strong performances, as well. Friday's contest will be the Hokies first road test of the season.
ORANGE
Syracuse (3-3) is 2-1 in ACC play this season after splitting results with Notre Dame and Louisville last weekend, and defeating Boston College earlier this month. Suiting up for the Orange this season is graduate student Natalie Novotna, a former second-team All ACC player for Virginia Tech. Along with Novotna, Syracuse has No. 81 Guzal Yusupova and No. 121 Viktoriya Kanapatskaya in its singles lineup.
EAGLES
Boston College (2-2) will face No. 15 Virginia on Friday ahead of hosting the Hokies on Sunday. The Eagles are 1-2 in conference play so far this season, the lone win coming against Notre Dame. In its singles lineup, Boston College has No. 76 Yufie Long, and in doubles, the No. 25 pair of Long and Kylie Wilcox take the floor for the Eagles.
