Becca DiNunzio takes women's title at Kingsmill

FINAL ROUND

Virginia Tech women's golfer Becca DiNunzio carded a three-round total of even-par 213 and captured the women's title at the Kingsmill Resort GCAA Amateur on Tuesday. The two-day tournament was played at the par 71, 6,831-yard River Course at the Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Virginia.
 
DiNunzio, a sophomore from Norfolk, Virginia, posted rounds of 71-72-71=213. She finished third among all competitors in the coed event, only behind Spencer Oxendine of NC State and Austin Greaser of North Carolina, at 6-under 207. Oxendine won the tournament in a playoff with Greaser.
 
Teammate Alyssa Montgomery, a sophomore from Knoxville, Tennessee, was second among female competitors in the tournament. She finished with a 219, three strokes ahead of Anna Kittelson of Delaware.

DiNunzio, a sophomore from Norfolk, Virginia, posted rounds of 71-72=143. She is tied for sixth among all competitors in the coed event. 
 
She leads teammate Alyssa Montgomery and Anna Kittelson of the University of Delaware by three strokes. Montgomery, a sophomore from Knoxville, Tennessee, posted rounds of 74-72=146. Montgomery and Kittelson are tied for 11thoverall.
 
Spencer Oxendine of NC State and Austin Greaser of North Carolina are tied for the overall lead at 5-under 137.
