Tech heads to North Carolina again, take on Wake Forest Saturday afternoon

VT Game Notes at Wake

BLACKSBURG – The No. 19 Virginia Tech football team is back on the field this Saturday, October 24 as they travel to play at the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on Regional Sports Networks.
 
The Hokies enter the week after a 40-14 victory over Boston College at Lane Stadium that featured 350 yards rushing and the return of QB Hendon Hooker as the starter. Hooker accounted for four TDs and became the first QB to rush for over 150 yards since Michael Vick in 2000. Tech's defense forced five turnovers in the contest.
 
The Demon Deacons enter following a 40-23 victory at home versus Virginia.
