The 2020 NFL regular season officially kicks off on Thursday night in Kansas City when the defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs take on the Houston Texans. Here's a quick look at all the Virginia Tech alums on NFL rosters and this week's matchups.
Sunday, September 13
Chicago at Detroit – 1:00 p.m. ET
CB Kyle Fuller and the Chicago Bears travel to Detroit to battle the Lions. Fuller is coming off his second Pro Bowl appearance and looks to yet again be a staple of defense that has ranked in the NFL's top 10 each of the last two seasons.
Philadelphia at Washington – 1:00 p.m. ET
The Washington Football Team boasts an NFL-high four Tech alums on its roster under head coach Ron Rivera. CB Kendall Fuller, CB Greg Stroman, DT Tim Settle and TE Logan Thomas will host to NFC East rival Philadelphia Eagles. Fuller returned to Washington after earning a Super Bowl ring with the Chiefs. Settle and Stroman both enter their third season wearing the Maroon and Gold, while Thomas will play with Washington for the first time.

N.Y. Jets at Buffalo – 1:00 p.m. ET
LB Tremaine Edmunds and the Buffalo Bills host rival AFC East rival New York Jets. Edmunds is coming off his first Pro Bowl campaign after leading the Bills with 115 tackles (66 solo), to go along with nine passes defensed, 1.5 sacks and one interception. The youngest of the Edmunds brothers is seeking to propel Buffalo to back-to-back playoff appearances for the first time since 1998-99.
Cleveland at Baltimore – 1:00 p.m. ET
S Chuck Clark and the Baltimore Ravens play host to G Wyatt Teller and the Cleveland Browns. Teller enters his third NFL season, as Clark is coming off a breakout season that saw him move into the starting lineup for the Ravens, leading the team with 73 total tackles.
Las Vegas at Carolina – 1:00 p.m. ET
K Joey Slye and the Carolina Panthers play host to the Las Vegas Raiders. Slye, entering his second NFL season, set the franchise record and led the NFL with eight made field goals of 50+ yards in 2019.
Miami at New England – 1:00 p.m. ET
TE Dalton Keene makes his NFL debut with New England as the Patriots host WR Isaiah Ford and the Miami Dolphins. Ford is enters his third NFL season, while Keene heads into his rookie campaign after being taken with the 101st pick of the draft.
Green Bay at Minnesota – 1:00 p.m. ET
T Yosh Nijman and the Green Bay Packers face NFC North rival Minnesota Vikings. Nijman enters his second season after spending last year on the Packer's practice squad.
Seattle at Atlanta – 1:00 p.m. ET
T Duane Brown and the Seattle Seahawks travel to Atlanta to face the Falcons. Brown is the most senior pro Hokie and thee four-time Pro Bowl player will once again protect the blindside of quarterback Russel Wilson.
Tampa Bay at New Orleans – 4:25 p.m. ET
Head coach Bruce Arians travel to face NFC South rival New Orleans Saints. Former Tech QB and two-time NFL Coach of the Year Bruce Arians enters his second season as head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Dallas at L.A. Chargers – 8:20 p.m. ET
QB Tyrod Taylor, CB Brandon Facyson and the Los Angeles Chargers host the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. Taylor was announced as the starter for the week one matchup and will look to lead a talented team to the playoffs. Facyson enters his third season with the Chargers after making the squad as a rookie free agent in 2018

Monday, September 14
Pittsburgh at N.Y. Giants – 7:10 p.m. ET
S Terrell Edmunds and the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the New York Giants on Monday Night Football. Last season Terrell finished second on the team in total tackles with 105. The eldest Edmunds brother, Trey, is a member of Pittsburgh's practice squad.
