BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech head coach Marci Byers announced Wednesday the signing of graduate transfer Ashley Homan from Alabama, joining the Hokies after a one-year stint at SMU and most recently three seasons in Tuscaloosa.
Homan will be the second graduate student to join Tech for the upcoming season, with Natasha Vipond (Lafayette) signing in April. Homan will be one of seven student-athletes who have committed to the Hokies for the 2020-21 campaign.
The full class includes Emily Campe, Kirah Johnson, Brie Postema, Mara Perry, Cierra Huntley and then Homan and Vipond.
