BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech lacrosse's Director of Operations Meg Bartley Justin recently conducted a Zoom interview with the program's sports information director Carter W. Brown to look back at her time as a Hokie and her career path that led her back to Blacksburg.

Bartley played for the Hokies from 2012-15, and left an indelible mark on the program, ranking first all-time in draw controls with 285 and also topping 100 career goals. She is one of three women to reach the 200-100 plateau in a Virginia Tech career. She also picked up 52 ground balls in her career and caused 21 turnovers.

She started 63 of 67 career games.

Bartley and Brown covered a number of topics:

  • What initially drew her into Hokie Nation
  • Some of her best memories during her four years on campus
  • That one goal that stands out in her career
  • Becoming a collegiate coach
  • Meeting Coach Sung and the opportunity to come home to Blacksburg
