BLACKSBURG - The Virginia Tech women's golf team opens the 2019-20 regular season as it travels to the Minneapolis area for the Minnesota Invitational. The two-day tournament will be played at Prestwick Golf Club in Woodbury, Minnesota beginning on Monday.

MINNESOTA INVITATIONAL
The 15-team field will play the par 72, 6,297-yard Prestwick Golf Club. The Hokies are one of four ACC teams in the tournament, along with Notre Dame, Louisville and Miami. Two teams, No. 21 Georgia and No. 23 Oklahoma are ranked in the WGCA preseason poll. The first Golfstat.com rankings of the season have not yet been released.
Play will consist of 36 holes with tee times beginning at 7:40 a.m. on Monday and 18 holes of action on Tuesday with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. There will be a practice round on Sunday, September 8.
The five players in the Hokies' starting line-up are:
