Quoting Coach Sung

  • You can't spot a team like this five goals and expect to get a result and that's what we did today. I didn't like the way we defended (Maddie Howe) she got some points for them in there.
  • Once we got it going there in the second half I thought it was pretty good. To go on a six-goal run there was exciting and I thought we might have had a chance
  • I thought the difference was the draw controls in the first half. When we couldn't get the possession there, Notre Dame really hurt us and that made it hard to come back from.
  • Sarah Lubnow had three goals on three shots, that's very good, I liked how she played today.

What's next

  • Tech will have an open date during the week, before hosting No. 1 Boston College on Saturday, April 13 at noon at Thompson Field.
  • The Hokies will close the regular season on Saturday, April 20 at Virginia.
