The Virginia Tech men's golf team is the 11th seed in the upcoming 66th annual ACC Men's Golf Championship, which will be held Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, April 18-20, over the 7,102-yard, par-72 course at the Old North State Club in New London, North Carolina.
The championship begins Thursday at 9 a.m., with No. 7 NC State, No. 8 Florida State, and No. 9 Virginia on hole 10 and No. 4 Clemson, No. 5 Louisville, and No. 6 North Carolina on hole 1. No. 10 Notre Dame, No. 11 Virginia Tech, and No. 12 Boston College start at 10 a.m. on hole 10, while No. 1 Wake Forest, defending champion and second-seed Georgia Tech, and No. 3 Duke start at 10 a.m. from hole 1.

Eight ACC teams are ranked in the Golfstat Top 30, with Wake Forest leading the way at No. 3 followed by No. 8 Georgia Tech, No. 9 Duke, No. 18 Clemson, No. 21 Louisville, No. 23 North Carolina, No. 26 NC State, and No. 29 Florida State.
This year marks the 22nd time overall that the league championship will be held at the Old North State Club. Wake Forest leads all schools with 18 league titles and 22 individual champions. Georgia Tech, which has won 15 outright ACC Championships and shared two more, has produced 11 individual medalists. North Carolina is third with 11 titles (10 outright), followed by Clemson with 10 (nine outright).
The tournament will be carried live on ACC Network Extra beginning at 2 p.m. on Friday and 1 p.m. on Saturday, with Mac McDonald and Brandon Turner on the call. There is no charge for admission for fans.
