BLACKSBURG – For the third time in program history and the first time since 2014, Virginia Tech will host the ACC Wrestling Championships in Cassell Coliseum on Saturday, March 9.
The full day of wrestling will see some of the sport's best compete for 37 bids to the 2019 NCAA Championships in Pittsburgh, an ACC record. Here's some information you need to know heading into Saturday.
TICKETS AND RE-ENTRY
- The ticket window will open at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday in the Cassell Coliseum lobby (entrance on Washington Street). Doors open at 10 a.m.
- Tickets are $10 for adults and seating will be general admission.
- Admission is free for youths 18 and under and ACC students with a valid school ID.
- Re-entry will be permitted throughout the day.
PARKING
- Parking is free for all fans.
- Fans are encouraged to use the Cassell Coliseum and South End Zone parking lots.
CLEAR BAG POLICY
- Like all Virginia Tech athletic events, a clear bag policy will be in effect.
POST-TOURNAMENT SOCIAL
- There will be a post-match social in the South End Zone club of Lane Stadium for Virginia Tech fans following the conclusion of the finals.
WEAR MAROON!
- Hokie fans are encouraged to wear maroon all day as Tech looks to win its third-consecutive ACC title.
