Hokies look to stand out on Thanksgiving Day

Here's a preview of all of this weekend's games featuring Virginia Tech alums, plus a recap of last weekend's top performances
 
Thursday, November 22
 
Chicago at Detroit – 12:30 pm ET
CB Kyle Fuller and the Chicago Bears host NFC North rival Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day. The Bears are atop the NFC North at 7-3 and are coming off a 25-20 win against the Vikings, while Lions are 4-6 and are coming off a win against the Panthers.
 
Fuller had seven tackle and two passes defended against the Vikings. On the season, Fuller has tallied 34 tackles, 13 passes defended and is tied for second in the league with four interceptions. Chicago currently ranks among the NFL's top defensive units.

Washington at Dallas – 4:30 pm ET
CB Greg Stroman, DT Tim Settle, CB Adonis Alexander and the Washington Redskins travel to Dallas to take on NFC East rival Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day. The Redskins are 6-4 after falling to the Texans 23-21, while the Cowboys are 5-5 after defeating the Falcons.
 
Stroman had three in the loss, While Settle and Alexander saw several snaps on defense, but neither recorded stats on the day. Former Hokie Torrian Gray serves as the Redskins' secondary coach.
 
Sunday, November 25
 
Jacksonville at Buffalo – 1:00 pm ET
LB Tremaine Edmunds, G Wyatt Teller, TE Logan Thomas and the Buffalo Bills host the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Bills are 3-7 coming off the bye week while the Jaguars are 3-7 after losing to the Steelers. On the season, Edmunds has tallied 70 tackles, 1.0 sack, two forced fumbles and seven passes defended.

Bengals at Browns – 1:00 pm ET
QB Tyrod Taylor and the Cleveland Browns face AFC North rival Cincinnati Bengals. The Browns are 3-6-1 and are coming off their bye week, while the Bengals are coming off a loss to the Ravens.
 
San Francisco at Tampa Bay – 1:00 pm ET
S Antone Exum, Jr. and the San Francisco 49ers face the Tampa Bay Buccaners. So far on the season Exum, Jr.has tallied 21 tackles, one sack, four passes defended, one forced fumble and an INT return TD.
 
 
 
Seattle at Carolina – 1:00 pm ET
Pro Bowl T Duane Brown and the Seattle Seahawks take on the Carolina Panthers. The Seahawks are 5-5 after defeating the Packers. Former Hokie Nick Sorensen serves as the secondary coach for Seattle.
 
Oakland at Baltimore – 1:00 pm ET
S Chuck Clark and the Baltimore Ravens host the Oakland Raiders. The Ravens are 5-5 after defeating the Bengals 24-21, while the Raiders are coming off a win against the Cardinals. Clark had one tackle in the victory.
 
Arizona at L.A. Chargers – 4:05 pm ET
CB Brandon Facyson and the L.A. Chargers host the Arizona Cardinals. The Chargers are 7-3 after falling to the Broncos 23-22, while Cardinals are coming off a loss. Facyson played 16 snaps at cornerback and recorded a tackle on special teams.
 
Pittsburgh at Denver – 4:25 pm ET
S Terrell Edmunds and the Pittsburgh Steelers travel to Denver to face the Broncos. The Steelers are 7-2-1 after defeating the Jaguars 20-16, while the Broncos are 4-6 after defeating the Chargers.
 
Edmunds had four tackles and a quarter back hurry in the win. On the season he has tallied 38 tackles, one interception and one fumble recovery in his rookie season. TE Bucky Hodges and RB Trey Edmunds are members of the Steelers practice squad.
 
Colts at Miami – 4:25 pm ET
The Miami Dolphins host the Indianapolis Colts. The Dolphins (5-5) are coming off their bye week while the Colts are 5-5 and are on a four-game winning streak. WR Isaiah Ford is a member of the Dolphins' practice squad and was spotted in Blacksburg this week.
 
Kansas City– Bye Week
CB Kendall Fuller and the Kansas City Chiefs enter their bye week 9-2 after falling to the Rams on Monday Night Football. Fuller had three tackles, one tackle for loss and a pass defended in the loss and has had an excellent first season with the Chiefs. On the season he has totaled 53 tackles seven passes defended, one tackle for loss and one interception.
