BLACKSBURG - The Virginia Tech women's golf team returns to action on Monday and Tuesday, as they compete in the inaugural Illini Women's Golf Invitational at Medinah. The two-day tournament will be played at the historic Medinah Country Club in Medinah, Illinois.

ILLINI WOMEN'S GOLF INVITATIONAL AT MEDINAH
This is the first season for the Illini Women's Golf Invitational at Medinah. The 15-team field will play the par 72, 6,412-yard Course Two at the historic Medinah Country Club. The Hokies join Miami as the two ACC schools in the tournament. Eight of the 15 teams are ranked in the top 40 in the current Golfweek/Sagarin rankings, led by No. 14 Kent State. The Hokies are ranked 35th nationally.
