Hokie ClubBLACKSBURG — Virginia Tech Football announced Monday that several styles of game worn helmets are currently available on auction beginning today at vthoki.es/FBauction.
The three-week online auction will conclude on Monday, March 5.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit Herma’s Readers, a non-profit organization that promotes the power of reading and literacy to youngsters during their formative years, grades K-3. Herma’s Readers honors the memory and legacy of Frank Beamer’s mother, Herma Beamer.
A minimum bid of $500 is required on white helmets, while a minimum bid of $400 is necessary for maroon and orange helmets.
