Hokie ClubBLACKSBURG - The Virginia Tech Athletics Department announced today it is providing another option for fans to purchase tickets to Tech football games at Lane Stadium this upcoming season.
The department will be offering three-game flex plans as part of its ticket inventory. There are two plans available – one plan allows a patron to purchase a ticket to the Miami game and two other home games of his or her choosing, while the other one allows a patron to purchase a ticket to the Virginia game and two other home games of his or her choosing. The cost is $189 per plan.
The department first will put these plans on sale to Hokie Club members and football season ticket holders on Tuesday at 10 a.m. These groups get the first opportunity because of their financial support of the Hokies’ football program and the department in general.
On Friday, the department will put the flex mini plans on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. All flex plan seat locations will be allocated after Hokie Club donors and season ticket holders have made their flex plan purchases.
As of right now, single-game tickets to the Miami and Virginia games are not for sale. The only way for Tech fans to attend these games would be through the purchase of season tickets or one of these flex mini plans. Season tickets offer fans the best pricing on a per-game basis and the most benefits, including discounts to the online store (shop.hokiesports.com), access to in-game video board messages, access to a personal season ticket service executive and more
Tech fans should note that there are a limited number of flex mini plans available. These will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Tickets can be purchased through one of three ways beginning Tuesday morning – through hokietickets.com, by calling the Virginia Tech Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-VATECH4, or by visiting the Lane Stadium Ticket Office.
