Tech Talk LIVE! presented by Geico, starts tonight!

Tech Talk LIVE!, Presented by Geico makes its grand debut tonight at Bull & Bones Brewhaus and Grill at the First and Main complex in downtown Blacksburg.

The radio program will air from 7-9 p.m. eastern time each Monday night in front of a live audience, and can be heard on Virginia Tech ISP Sports Network radio affiliates throughout the region and on-line through Hokies All-Access (listen to the show).

Tonight’s guests lineup:

  • Virginia Tech Head Football Coach Frank Beamer.
  • Former Hokie and 2009 Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Bruce Smith. (by telephone)
  • Director of Athletics Jim Weaver.
  • Virginia Tech offensive coordinator Bryan Stinespring.
  • Virginia Tech senior tight end Greg Boone.
  • Virginia Tech senior safety Kam Chancellor.
  • Voice of the Hokies Bill Roth, who will serve as host.

Tech Talk LIVE!, presented by Geico replaces the Hokie Hotline which occupied the same time slot since the late 1970s. The new program will continue to encourage fan interaction with Virginia Tech coaches and administrators and will originate from the new state-of-the-art studio and stage at Bull & Bones Brewhaus and Grill. This is the first time current and active players will be involved on the show on a weekly basis.

Fan can submit participate in the show in a variety of ways. Those in attendance can ask live questions to the panelist. Those at home can submit a question or comment via hokiesports.com or by texting their query from the nTelos Text Line: 540-293-TTL-1.

The program will continue each Monday night throughout the season.

Fans who wish to attend the program at Bull & Bones are encouraged to arrive early to get the best seats for the inaugural show.
