Hokies to hold send-off/pep rally on Friday

This Friday, Sept. 28th, from 6-6:45 p.m., there will be a send-off for the Hokie football team before it heads to the Hotel Roanoke in preparation for Saturday's ACC opener with North Carolina at Lane Stadium (12 p.m. kickoff).

Sponsored by the Student Alumni Associates, the event will take place outside of Cassell Coliseum by the west-side bus-loading area. It will be hosted by the Voice of the Hokies, Bill Roth, and will include:

Cheerleaders
High Techs
Low Techs
Dance Company at Virginia Tech
Highty Tighties
HokieBird
Homecoming Court
Promotional Giveaways
VTCC Hotel Company's Flaming VT and Ranger Company's Game Ball run

Coach Beamer and the team captains will also talk about the game, so see you at 6 p.m. on Friday outside the Cassell!
