2005: Averaged 43.2 yards per punt on 52 kicks ... Placed 15 kicks inside the opponents' 20-yard line ... Did not have a kick blocked during the season ... Averaged 45.7 yards on six kicks in the opening game at NCSU ... Put three of those kicks inside the 20 ... Had a punt of 61 yards against Georgia Tech ... Posted a 49.2 average on six kicks against the Yellow Jackets ... Hit a career-long punt of 65 yards against Marshall ... Averaged 50.3 yards on three kicks in the UNC game earning ACC Specialist of the Week honors ... Punted six times in the Gator Bowl for an average of 50 yards with a long of 54 yards ... Earned Super Iron Hokie honors during the off-season program ... Punted once in the spring Maroon-White game for 46 yards.

2004: Saw his first action of the year against Florida A&M, making both of his PATs ... Had a 43-yard punt in the win over Maryland ... Kicked off once in the Sugar Bowl ... Punted seven times for an average of 42.0 yards with a long of 55 yards and three downed inside the 20-yard line in the Maroon-White game ... Given the Dr. Richard Bullock Award, awarded to the most improved player, following spring practice ... Set a new position record in both the push jerk (360) and power clean (360) ... Power clean mark was the ninth-best in program history ... Also recorded a 390-pound bench and a 605-pound back squat in spring testing.

2003: Was redshirted during the fall while concentrating on his punting ... Won Super Iron Hokie honors in the weight room during the preseason and in the spring ... Set position marks for a specialist with a 604-pound squat, a 316-pound power clean and a 341-pound push jerk ... Had a 62-yard punt and booted a 22-yard field goal during Tech's final spring scrimmage ... Averaged 52.6 yards on five punts during the spring game with a long of 60 ... Put two of his kickoffs through the end zone.

2002: Dressed for the first three games, but did not play ... Was forced into action for the Boston College game when Carter Warley was sidelined with a back problem ... Kicked off twice in the first half against the Eagles ... Was successful on his four extra points, but barely missed his lone field goal attempt, a 41-yarder ... Was successful on all five extra points against Rutgers, but missed his lone field goal attempt, a 36-yarder ... Connected on his first collegiate field goal against Temple, a 21-yard attempt ... Later made a 22-yard kick ... Missed from 42 yards out, but made both of his extra points ... Was 3-for-3 on PATs against Pittsburgh, but missed a 42-yard field goal in the fourth quarter ... Earned Super Iron Hokie honors during the off-season with a 340-pound bench press and 530-pound back squat.

High School: An all-state kicker who scored 223 points during his three varsity seasons for Coach Willis White at Salem High ... Connected on 8-of-12 field goals as a senior and made all 30 of his extra point attempts ... Was 40-of-41 on extra points his junior season ... Also made 15-of-19 field goals that season ... Kicked the game-winning extra point in the 1999 Group AA championship game ... Made 127 of 128 PAT kicks during his career and was 32-for-43 on field goal attempts ... His longest field goal in a game was 48 yards ... Averaged 39 yards as a punter his senior season and 38 as a junior ... Set school records for most points, most extra points and most field goals ... Also saw action as a defensive back and a receiver ... Intercepted three passes his senior season and six his junior year ...
