BLACKSBURG - The Hokies (7-17, 1-13 ACC) fell to Virginia (19-6, 9-5 ACC) in three sets (21-25, 19-25, 13-25) on Friday afternoon.

The loss gives the Cavaliers 0.5 point in the Commonwealth Clash, presented by Smithfield. The score for the Commonwealth Clash currently is 5.0.-0.0 in favor of Virginia. For more information visit hokiesports.com/commonwealth-clash.

GAME NOTES

  • Jasmine Robinson led offensive efforts with eight kills on a .533 clip with one dig and one block assist.
  • Viktoria Wahlgren notched the team-highs in digs with eight and assists with 17 along with six kills on a .214 hitting percentage.
  • Jordan Hallman notched the second highest hitting percentage, reaching .400 on four kills and 10 attempts, and recorded one block assist.
  • Leandra Mangual Duran recorded her 14th match with a perfect serve-receive and tacked on five digs while recording the only service ace for the Hokies.
  • Belle Patrick recorded four kills and seven digs.
  • Tech totaled 33 kills, 26 assists, 25 digs and four total blocks.

HONORING MANGUAL DURAN'S 1,000 CAREER DIGS
