Hokie ClubSOUTH BEND, Ind. - The Hokies (7-22, 1-18 ACC) fell to Notre Dame (12-16, 5-14 ACC) in four sets (11-25, 25-19, 11-25, 18-25) on Wednesday afternoon.
GAME NOTES
- Leandra Mangual Duran recorded her fifth career double-double, and her second of the season, with 15 kills and 11 digs. Mangual Duran also collected one ace and one block assist. The first double-double of the season from Mangual Duran also came against Notre Dame, on November 22.
- Hailey Pearce led offensive efforts with her 16th match of the season in double-digit kills. The outside hitter posted 17 on a .323 clip with six digs and one block assist.
- Jordan Hallman led defeneive efforts at the net with five total blocks - one solo and four assists - for her 21st match of the season with three or more total.
- Five Hokies totaled six aces with Viktoria Wahlgren recording two and Ella Guilfoy, Sierra Cates, Belle Patrick and Mangual Duran with one apiece.
- Sierra Cates accumulated a career-high 15 digs in the match, suprassing her previous career-high of 10.
- Tech totaled 43 kills, 41 assists, 55 digs, 11 total blocks and six aces.
