 2018-19 (Senior)

  • Became the first Hokie to ever earn first team All-ACC honors in 2019 after averaging 19.0 points, the third most in the conference.
  • Eclipsed 1,000 points as a Hokie during the season.
  • Scored 35 points, a program record for an ACC tournament game in the second round of the competition against Clemson.
  • Shot .430 from the field and knocked down 77 3's, the second highest single-season total in program history.

2017-18 (Junior)

  • Led the Hokies to the WNIT’s championship game averaging 19.8 points throughout the tournament while shooting 47.9 percent from the field Emery earning All-Tournament team honors. Emery scored dramatic late go-ahead baskets in the Hokies’ wins over Navy and West Virginia.
  • The Tampa, Florida native started the postseason strong, scoring 27 points in the Second Round ACC contest against Syracuse, pulling the Hokies back from a 14-point halftime deficit to advance 85-70. In the Quarterfinal round versus the league’s top seed Louisville, she poured in 27 points again including three 3-point baskets.
  • On the season, she led the Hokies and was fifth in the ACC in scoring, averaging 18.5 points per contest, setting a Virginia Tech single season record scoring 667 points. She tallied 30 games reaching double digits in the scoring column.
  • Emery was named the ACC’s Player of the Week on Feb. 12 following two terrific performances the week before. She scored 25 points as the Hokies defeated North Carolina on the road, then scored a season-high of 32 points against rival Virginia.
  • Emery recorded the first double-double of her career against Clemson scoring 16 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.

 
Prior to Virginia Tech

  • Emery began her collegiate career at Tulane in 2015-16, where she played in all 35 of the Green Wave’s contests, recording eight games of double-digit scoring. She was a two-time American Athletic Conference Freshman of the Week performer and earned AAC All-Freshman team honors.
  • Emery also played for Gulf Coast State College for one season prior to her arrival in Blacksburg.  She averaged 19 points per game en route to earning Region 8 Co-Player of the Year. In addition, Emery was named the Region Tournament MVP, National Tournament MVP, WBCA Player of the Year, Spalding NJCAA Player of the Year and was a third team All-American.

 
High School (Freedom)

  • Emery earned four letters for coach Laurie Pacholke, where she set the county record for career points (2,689). During her time at Freedom, Emery earned Parade All-American honors, in addition to being named first team All-State, Hillsborough Player of the Year and 7A Player of the Year.

 
Personal

  • Born on Aug. 26, Emery has three siblings. She is majoring in creative writing and enjoys writing poetry in her free time. Emery is also on a pre-veterinary track and plans to be a veterinarian after her basketball career.
