Tech wraps up competition at ACC Men's Golf Championship

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Virginia Tech men's golf team concluded play at the 2025 ACC Men's Golf Championship Saturday afternoon, finishing 15th at the par 72, 7,331-yard The Club at Olde Stone.

Tech junior Rahul Rajendran led the Hokies by tying for 42nd at 4-over 220 (71-75-74). VT fired a 28-over 892 (293-301-298).

Virginia, ranked 11th in the country, topped the team standings following stroke play behind an 18-under 846 (278-288-280). The Cavaliers secured the top seed for match play, which begins Sunday morning with quarterfinal matchups.

North Carolina placed second at 10-under 854 (283-284-287), followed by Florida State (-6) and Clemson (-6). SMU (-4), Cal (-2), Wake Forest (-2) and Georgia Tech (+3) rounded out the match play field to decide the title.

Notre Dame's Jacob Modleski birdied the par-5 18th hole to capture the individual title at 9-under 207 (70-68-69), one stroke clear of Florida State's Tyler Weaver.
