Tech falls in their fourth straight ACC match

RALEIGH, N.C. – Tech falls in their fourth straight ACC match 4-0 to No. 12 NC State.

The Hokies were unable to take the doubles point as they fell on Court 1 and 3. Three Hokies fell in straight sets in singles to give NC State the sweep.

Özlem Uslu was up 6-2, 5-4 when NC State clinched the match. Arina Gamretkaia was attempting to send her match to three sets as she was working to tie her match 1-1, after a 6-2 first set loss. She was up 3-1 in the second set when the match was called.
