BLACKSBURG – Setting course for a new season on the diamond, Virginia Tech baseball head coach John Szefc revealed the Hokies’ 2025 regular season schedule on Thursday, outlining a compelling calendar of 30-plus home games packed with competitive ACC and non-conference matchups alike.

Among its five feature ACC home weekends this spring, Virginia Tech will entertain Georgia Tech (March 7-9), Louisville (March 21-23), Florida State (April 11-13), North Carolina (April 18-20) and Virginia (May 15-17) at English Field at Atlantic Union Bank Park. Tickets – to be made available at a later date – are required for entrance to any of the Hokies’ five ACC home series. Sign up to be the first to know when tickets go on sale.

Additionally, Virginia Tech will make ACC road trips in 2025 to NC State (March 14-16), Wake Forest (March 28-30), Notre Dame (April 4-6), Duke (April 25-27) and Pitt (May 2-4). Despite this year’s expansion of the ACC baseball membership to 16 programs, the Hokies will not oppose newcomers California and Stanford during the course of the 2025 regular season.

With the ACC maintaining its 12-team conference tournament format, Virginia Tech will look to progress to the 2025 ACC Baseball Championship, as scheduled to take place between May 20 and May 25 at Durham Bulls Athletic Park in Durham, North Carolina (home of the Durham Bulls). The Hokies’ streak of four consecutive ACC tournament appearances equates to their program record since joining the league prior to the 2005 season.

Filling in the non-conference weekends of Virginia Tech’s 2025 schedule, the Hokies will contest back-to-back, season-opening home series against Bucknell (Feb. 14-16) and UNCG (Feb. 21-23) before competing in East Carolina’s 2025 Keith LeClair Classic from Feb. 28 to March 2. There, the Hokies will face three NCAA tournament programs from last year’s field: Army West Point (Feb. 28), Indiana State (March 1) and host East Carolina (March 2).

Virginia Tech will squeeze in a two-game non-conference series against Norfolk State (March 4-5) in addition to hosting two games against Mercer (May 10-11) during its late-season break from ACC action.

Highlighting its 2025 midweek action, Virginia Tech have home games scheduled against ETSU (Feb. 18), Liberty (March 11), VCU (March 18), Radford (April 1), Troy (April 8), James Madison (April 30) and Marshall (May 13). The Hokies will also return midweek games at James Madison (Feb. 25), Radford (March 25), ETSU (April 15), VCU (April 22) and Liberty (May 7).

All dates and opponents listed on Virginia Tech’s 2025 schedule are subject to change. Ticket information, along with game times and broadcast/streaming information, will be released at a later date.
