Hokies lacrosse announces 2025 signing class

Skiera reveals 10 commits to Virginia Tech

BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech lacrosse head coach Kristen Skiera has announced the program's 2025 signing class, which consists of 10 future Hokies.

Madison Baumgratz
Defense
Charlotte, N.C.
Charlotte Catholic High School

Baumgratz will join the Hokies with four years of experience at Charlotte Catholic, where she’s been a state championship finalist on three occasions. In 2023, she was selected as an All-American, while also being selected multiple times to Under Armour’s All-American south team. The defender plays club for Charlotte Style and intends to study business at Virginia Tech.

Charlottesville, Va.
St. Anne’s Belfield School

Bingler, the Hokies’ lone goalie in the 2025 signing class, currently attends St. Anne’s Belfield School in Charlottesville. A 2024 state champion, All-Region and All-Jefferson District team selection, Bingler also plays club lacrosse for Cav Lax Elite. Bingler plans to study Human Development at Virginia Tech.

Great Falls, Va.
Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School

As the second Virginia native to joins Virginia Tech’s signing class, Collins joins the Hokies from Georgetown Visitation, where she won the 2024 DCSAA title. She was named All-ISL AA in her junior season, in which her school also claimed part of the ISL crown. Collins plays for Capital Lacrosse Club and is interested in studying biology at Tech.

Glenelg Country School

A former All-County selection from Glenelg Country School, Doreen signs with Virginia Tech as a potent scorer from the Maryland high school ranks. Doreen plays her club ball with Hero’s Lacrosse. The Middletown, Md. native plans to study business at Virginia Tech.

Emme Dunphey

Ridgewood High School

Dunphey joins the Hokies as a highly lauded defender from New Jersey. In 2024, she was nominated as the North Jersey Player of the Year (defense), while being named first team All-North Jersey, All-County, All-Group 4, along with third team All-State. The defender plays for Centercourt Lacrosse Club. Dunphey, who intends to study business, is the sister of assistant coach Molly Dunphey.

Catherine Karman

Paul D. Schreiber
Port Washington, N.Y.

Karman, an attacker that deepens the Hokies’ Long Island ties, joins the Hokies as a three-time All-County selection through her junior season at Paul D. Schreiber High School. In 2024, the offensive threat was named an honorable mention All-American by USA Lacrosse, while also playing club for Long Island Yellow Jackets.

West Friendship, Md.
Glenelg High School

Kelleher signs with Virginia Tech following a junior season that saw Glenelg claim the Maryland 2A state title, while she was named first team All-County (Howard County, Md.). As a defender, she plays Hero’s Lacrosse

Marietta, Ga.
Campbell High School

Marble joins the Hokies as a Georgia 7A first team All-State and All-Region selection. In 2024, she was named to the DiVarsity Georgia High School Lacrosse All-Star team. Playing her club ball for Major Force Lacrosse, Marble intends to study business at Virginia Tech.

Sacred Heart Academy

Thieke, another Long Island addition, signed with Virginia Tech after twice being named an All-League player by the New York State Catholic High School Athletic Association. On two occasions, the attacker has been named Sacred Heart’s Offensive Player of the Year, while also playing club lacrosse for Long Island Top Guns. Thieke intends to study Finance at Virginia Tech.

Notre Dame Preparatory School

Wilking joins the Hokies from Notre Dame Preparatory School in Maryland. The attacker plays her club ball with Hero’s Lacrosse. The daughter of Lisa and Kevin Wilking, she intends to study exercise and health sciences in Blacksburg.
