BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech football will host Virginia for bragging rights in the battle for the Commonwealth Cup on Saturday, Nov. 30, at Lane Stadium at 8 p.m. ET on ACC Network.

Tech is set to welcome its in-state rival with a full-capacity stadium for the first time since 2018. The Hokies last hosted the matchup in Blacksburg in 2020, during a COVID year that contained very limited attendance.

Virginia Tech has dominated the matchups, winning 22 of 24 games since 1999. Boasting a three-game win streak over the Cavaliers, Pry and staff will attempt to recapture the magic from last season’s dominant 55-17 win in Charlottesville. Last season’s victory was also the first time the Hokies scored 50+ under Pry. The Hokies will try to match the impressive feat again and surpass their highest point total of the season, which was a 42-point affair against Boston College.

The Smithfield Commonwealth Clash is sold out, but fans still interested in attending can find ticket options on SeatGeek, the official fan-to-fan ticket marketplace of Virginia Tech Athletics.
