  • The Hokies home course was redesigned by famed architect Pete Dye in 2006.
  • The course has hosted numerous championship events, including the 2011 NCAA Blacksburg Regional.
  • The scenic venue, set along the New River, has become a destination course among top golfers.

WILLIS AND MARY BLACKWOOD INDOOR GOLF FACILITY

Thanks to a generous donation from Willis and Mary Blackwood, this 2,600 square-foot facility includes offices for the coaches, a conference room, private restrooms and locker rooms for the men and women, and a small lounge area. More importantly, the facility includes a chipping and putting area and two state-of-the-art golf simulators that allow for skill instruction and practice during inclement weather and also at night.

"The indoor facility is an awesome outlet for the team to use in our free time, especially before or after classes...we have the ability to work on our game as well as other key aspects such as set up, alignment and positions in our golf swings."
