Whether it’s a family reunion, corporate gathering or youth group outing, there is nothing like a fall Saturday spent cheering on the Hokies with the people you value the most.

From the Marching Virginians playing the fight song to Skipper firing a cannon shot to the Hokies taking the field carrying their iconic lunch pail, gamedays in Blacksburg are full of can’t-miss moments.

Nobody comes to Blacksburg by accident.
Being a Hokie is something passed down from generation to generation, uniting fans young and old and serving as a common bond that will never be broken.
“When Florida State came to Blacksburg October 24, 1964, they were ranked 10th in the country and we were an underdog, yet we stomped them 21-11. I knew then I’d be a proud Hokie forever. We’ve been privileged to see a lot of great wins along with a few losses too, but through it all we keep in mind the Tech Triumph 'Win or lose we’ll greet you with a glad returning, You’re the pride of V. P. I.' This year when we take our seat in Lane Stadium we’ll feel that same Hokie pride & spirit.”
