BLACKSBURG – Due to inclement weather forecast in the Blacksburg area, the Virginia Tech athletic department announced on Tuesday the cancelation of the baseball’s program’s May 13 home game against Marshall at English Field at Atlantic Union Bank Park.
The game will not be rescheduled.
With Tuesday’s cancelation, Virginia Tech (29-22, 11-16 ACC) will set its sights on its final ACC regular season series – a three-game home set against in-state rival Virginia (30-16, 14-10 ACC) beginning on Thursday, May 15. The Hokies have won two of the last three ACC series contested against the Cavaliers, including the teams' 2023 meeting in Blacksburg.
Game times for the Commonwealth Clash presented by Smithfield are scheduled for 6 p.m. on Thursday (May 15), 3 p.m. on Friday (May 16) and 1 p.m. on Saturday (May 17). All three games will air live on ACC Network Extra.
